 Haiyang
has a population of 700,000 and the labor force enjoys
an annual increase of about 6,000 from graduates from
all kinds of schools. Haiyang has five vocational schools
and the advanced vocational schools have 2400 enrolled
students. The specialities include industry mould, light
industry mechanism, maintenance of electrochanical equipments,
light machine equipments, financial accounting, electromechanical
integration, computer, plastic-shaping technics, clothing
and motor repairing. There are 700 graduates every year.
The No.2 Vocational School has 410 enrolled students with
five specialities such as kindergarten teaching, motor
repairing, special police, national defense education
and comprehensive high school, and 150 students graduate
every year. The No.3 Vocational School has 700 enrolled
students with comprehensive high school, comouter and
cooking three specialities, and 130 graduates every year.
The Vocational School affiliated to Chinese Medicine Hospital
has 100 students, two specialities-western medicine and
acupuncture and 25 graduates every year. The five schools
provide a labor force of 1200 with specialities.
Haiyang has about 2300 high school graduates and 500 college
and unversity graduates returned to Haiyang every year.
Middle school graduates number 1900 each year.
The salary of Haiyang averages 545 yuan per month and
the lowest salary is 340 yuan per month.
