Congma buddhist temple lies in 400-meter-high Qifeng mountain
which is in the northeast end of Haiyang City. Established in
the end of the Sui Dynasty and the beginning of the Tang Dynasty,
Congma buddhist temple has a history of over one thousand years
and has become a famous holy land of Buddhism in Jiaodong. Famous
general of Tang Dynasty Wei Chijingde, many other disciples of
Buddhist and Confucianits and Taoist priests once visited here.
Congma buddhist temple has more than 40 well-protected historical
sites.
