In Haiyang, the highways open to traffic are 630 kilometers long and the railway 20 kilometers long. The Fengcheng Port has two berths. The transportaion network combining highways, railways and sea transportation is extending to all directions. In 2002, the various tools transported goods of 1,498,000 tons and handled 4,787,000 passengers. The goods export volume of the ports reached 98,000 tons. The business volume of post and telecommunication totalled 83,570,000 yuan. By the end of 2002, the number of telephone users was 145,000, among which the users of mobiles amounted to 84,000.
