Domestic trade:
The total volume of retail sales of consumables for the whole city stood at 2.23 billion yuan, among which 1.05 billion yuan was from Haiyang city and the rest from the town and villages governed by Haiyang. The volume of retail sales for the wholesale and retail trade was 1.51 billion yuan, that of food and beverage 0.09 billion yuan and that of the others 0.63 billion yuan. The 70 fairs of Haiyang brought a business volume of 0.81 billion yuan.

Foreign trade and foreign capital:
The export of the whole city brought foreign exchange of 73,220,000 dollars. The foreign capital in contracts totalled 160,100,000 dollars and the actually used was 98 million dollars.
